First, let’s start this Let’s Hunt Monstas! update with these simple words, DON’T PANIC! The comic book series isn’t being shortened, but rather expanded by one more book. Read why after the jump.

For the last three months I have been saying, Let‘s Hunt Monstas! No.4 is the series finale and will be the last book in the current series before I rest it and move to work on the Guard webcomic series. Well, I was wrong to do that. To give this series a stonker of a series finale I need to draw just one more book! So, Let’s Hunt Monstas! will be a FIVE issue mini-series, with the fifth (and final) book still being a giant sized special I have promised.

I simply want to give Let’s Hunt Monstas! a fitting ending for you all to hang on and gives the LHM books that classic five-part series that is common with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and Usagi Yojimbo books – which have been a major influence on the series.

So, what does this mean? Well, Let’s Hunt Monstas! No.4 is now scheduled for a regular release on or around the end of November, with 95% of the pages drawn it makes good sense to give all you, the fans of the comic book one more book before the new year. (and I cannot believe I am saying new year.) To this end we are launching one last Kickstarter, loaded with goodies, for the year and you can sign up for the release notification for book four right here.
